P u b l i c a t i o n s

The design research focuses on the relationship between artist, arts, and audience through the development of the digital media design technology. Within my research program I am the co-author of more than 10 books, design articles, and international presentations.

My current Project examines digital media in exhibition design. Most of the museums around the world adopt a conventional way of exhibition deign which creates a distance between the artist’s artwork and the audience. My digital media research explores new design methods of exhibition design, based on principles of visual communication and human-computer interaction. The project explores to develop vaious methods of installation to support audiences motivated to acquire knowledge of the object in the art space. This is accomplished by augmented layering of information via the use of visual communication, UI/UX design, interaction design, storyline formats, and augmented interaction between the artwork and the audience.
